Shipping Policy:

Mia Bella Baskets, hand delivers to every city in Puerto
Rico. We guarantee delivery on the date requested
or before the requested delivery date during peak seasons. We telephone
the recipient prior to delivering but we cannot guarantee a specific time
of delivery. If you do not wish for us to contact the recipient please indicate so
in the comments section upon checkout!!!
SAME DAY DELIVERY IS NOT POSSIBLE.
-Orders need to be placed at least
24 hours before
delivery date for : Metro-San Juan areas. [low season]
[Please note 24 hours means before noon the day prior to delivery]
-Orders need to be placed at least
36 hours
before
delivery date for: Every other city out of Metro-San Juan. [low season]
Mia Bella Baskets
does not allow orders to be cancelled within
24 hours
of the requested delivery date, [during low season], or within the seven days
prior to Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Fathers
Day. Because of our extremely high volume of orders during peak seasons, we
prepare orders with anticipation to the delivery date.
If your order is for delivery on a Holiday or special occasion, please
order on time for delivery. We recommend that you order a few
days in advance to the occasion due to rush of the high peak
seasons.
Remote or
rural areas may require additional delivery time, provided you placed
your order on time it will be delivered on your requested date.

Deliveries may vary due to Holidays and recipient availability.
Recipients are required to be home to receive orders or we will
leave with the closest neighbor. We do not leave gifts at door steps.
Signatures are required.

We reserve the right to the

We try our best so that arrangements shown match actual pictures. Some
flowers are seasonal and colors could change depending on availability.
We reserve the right to substitute colors and/or flowers of
equal of greater value.
If we are out of a particular ribbon, basket or vase, we will substitute
with an item as close as possible to your original selection.
Substitutions are a rare occurrence and will not affect the overall
design or the value of your gift.
If we are out of a particular gourmet product, we will substitute with a
product closest to the product offered, always of equal or greater value.
Unfortunately, there are times we cannot control what our suppliers have in
stock. Sometimes they repeat the same products sometimes they stock
new items. If we understand that we need to make a substitution that will
affect the overall product, we will contact you for alternatives.
Return/Refund
Claims
Policy:
We do not refund your
credit card unless their has been a fault on our behalf
with the delivery or arrangement. Otherwise, you
will be issued a credit towards your next purchase.
All claims must be made within 48 hours after the delivery date.
Incorrect Addresses:
The situations below are very unlikely...but just in case be advised!!
[We do call the
recipient to confirm addresses before delivering. IF you have given us
instructions not to call, then you will be responsible for
the situations indicated below, if any of them should occur.]
Mia Bella Baskets will not be held responsible
for:
- Flower arrangements, gift baskets, gifts in general - delivered to
incorrect addresses provided by you, the customer.
If the recipient's address is
incorrect and delivery was attempted to
the address, there is a $15 recurring delivery fee. If such a
delivery cannot be completed, the customer
assumes responsibility for the entire purchase.
- Unsuccessful deliveries arising from the recipient not being present
at time of delivery at the address supplied by the customer. There
is a $15
recurring delivery fee.
- Decreased
flower quality due to lost time because the recipient was not available
to receive the gift, or an incorrect delivery address provided
by you, the customer.
We always maintain a very open communication with our clients. The
situations above are very unlikely but can occur if we cannot contact
you.
If you are in the Military DO NOT PROVIDE an email such as: @us.army.mil.
They never go through and always kick back. Provide a Yahoo,
Gmail, Hotmail or AOL email address.
Sales Tax:
Beginning November 15th, 2006: a "PR State" sales tax
of 7.0% was be imposed by the government for Puerto Rico, for all sales
of retail goods and services. A
7.0%
[municipal and state tax] will be automatically be calculated and added
to your order at the shopping cart.
Pricing:
Prices shown below product images are the base price for
the item and do not include our delivery fees or 7% PR Sales Tax. You will be
asked to select the city for delivery at checkout on our shopping cart.

We do not deliver gifts under $35.00. It is
not cost effective. [Items on the site for under $35.00 are "add
on gifts".]
Proof of Delivery:
For your protection and ours, we collect a signature from the recipient
as proof of delivery.
